Why your bachelorette weekend needs yoga

I know I might be biased.. but hear me out. Every bachelorette is filled with excitement, friendship, partying, a little drama, some(or a lot) of drinking, good food, good times, and good memories. But do you know what they also need so that you can truly soak up each and every moment that passes??

Like any event, bachelorette parties need balance.

There’s no better way to find balance than by literally testing your balance - so whether it’s yoga to start the day mindfully (or slowly waking up from a wild night out, hello hangover friendly flow) or getting outside on the water for some SUP Yoga, I’ve got all the fun wellness add-ons to customize a memorable part of your weekend celebrations!

Annapolis is a popular tourist town with its historic charm, waterfront views, and coastal vibes, it makes for the perfect place for a bachelorette weekend. From dive bars, and tiki cruises, to speakeasys, craft cocktails, and live music, there’s something for everyone in Annapolis, Maryland. If your picturesque bachelorette party is begging for one last toast on the coast, then Annapolis is the spot to pick.

Each of my bridal crews, birthday parties, and bachelorette groups get to totally customize their experience. So whether you’re fitness fanatics or my “woo woo” girlies, I’ll make sure the experience is exactly what you need to balance out your weekend of fun. I’ve taught some power based strength focused flows, yin yoga to stretch and slow down, vinyasa for mindful movement, combo classes for the best of both worlds, and even hour-long meditative journeys. Your group’s vibe - matched. Yoga can offer space to move, breathe, and just simply be; it’s the perfect reminder to take a pause and really soak it all in.

Everything goes by so quickly. The proposal, engagement celebrations, the bachelorette weekend, all the planning, the bridal shower, the rehearsal, and the wedding day. Before you know it, you’re waking up as a whole new version of yourself. Before you know it, the bridal era will be over. So my most important piece of advice - cherish every moment.

Before it’s tomorrow, soak in every minute of today.

Cherish the smiles, the laughter, the hugs, the joy, and the excitement you get to share with everyone. Take pictures. Hire the photographer, splurge on the videographer, bring a poloroid

Choosing yoga to be a part of your celebrations isn’t just adding in a fitness factor to stay on track and stick to routine.

Choosing yoga to be a part of your celebrations, is choosing to savor the celebrations happening.

When we stop and pause, we are able to notice, acknowledge and appreciate the little joys in life more. My hope for you, is that you too stop to pause, soak it all in, savor every moment, and add a little more yoga in your life. Because yoga is a moment to pause. It’s not just the poses and the movement and the heat and the flow; it’s the exhale, the emotions being felt, the moments being cherished, the memories being stored.

If you’re planning a bachelorette, birthday party, or celebration with friends in Annapolis or the surrounding areas in Maryland, give me a shout and let’s start planning something unique together :)

xx
