Astrology updates June-July

Currently Pluto is retrograde from May 6th-October 15th and this nearly five-month period is viewed as a time for deep psychological introspection, shedding old habits, and examining underlying themes of power, control, and transformation. This transit is typically thought to turn your focus inward, encouraging you to reevaluate your relationships, confront what is hidden, release what no longer serves you, and completely transform the areas of your life that need attention.
We also have the Capricorn Full Moon on Monday June 29th opposing the Cancer Sun, which pushes us to balance our professional ambitions, dreams, and responsibilities with our emotional foundations and family needs. This is a time to turn inward, get grounded, and create a safe space. A returning home to yourself.
We also have Mercury, the planet of communication, entering its retrograde phase in emotional, nostalgic Cancer. Expect mixed messages, confusion, the return of people from your past, and a strong urge to go inward and process underlying insecurities. Mercury is retrograde June 29th-July 23rd enhancing the message of the Full Moon and Pluto that invite us to truly turn inward, reflect, release, and pause.
In July, Jupiter, the planet of expansion, luck, and growth is placed in the fiery, bold sign of the lion, Leo. This placement amplifies confidence, creativity, and a desire to inspire others. This is a time to expand, be bold, and let your passions shine through.
July is also kicking off with Mars conjunct Uranus, a highly electric, volatile aspect that sparks sudden insights, impulsive actions, and sudden shifts. When these two planets meet in the intellectual sign of Gemini, it supercharges your mind, bringing unexpected revelations, radical ideas, and a strong urge to break free from whatever feels stagnant.
